SUPERBRUK concrete slabs have been used for years on pavements, squares around businesses and wherever large areas need to have the surface prepared so that it performs better.
About concrete slabs
Available in our regular offer The premium range includes paving blocks, concrete slabs and various precast elements. It is often based on elements that have been further refined, for example with exposed sand grain or smoothed to a satin effect. Modern methods mean that we can achieve the desired result while maintaining the quality and durability of the finished slabs.
Timeless designs include regular shapes and, in terms of colours, grey and its various shades, but customers are just as likely to choose more modern versions for their businesses:
- unusual colouring - can imitate the look of rocks, wood; in this series, these will be the granite and wenge colours from VIP Premium, respectively;
- various sizes - When variety blends well with a given area, it is worth choosing, for example, a combination of smaller and larger squares of VIP Slate Premium;
- additional functionality - In addition to the standard role of a stable and solid substrate, you can provide additional benefits to the users of the square around your company, but also influence other aspects; an example is openwork panels that
- have holes in their structure that are large enough that grass, other plants or coloured aggregate can be sown in them after they have been laid in the area;
- support the drainage of rainwater, which is especially important in large yards where complete concreting of the surface could result in flooding of the low floors of buildings during heavy rainfall.
You can see from our past and present realisations in Podlasie and other provinces how important experience and commitment are. The different types of concrete slabs we have laid can fulfil their role for years.
Discover the types of SUPERBRUK concrete slabs
The range of concrete slabs can be divided according to the method of making and possible refinement, while the first guideline is the final location where a particular type of material will be laid. The most popular options are:
- footpath in front of the gate around the property,
- driveway to the main office and other buildings,
- the yard of the property in part or in whole, depending on the arrangements,
- terrace, which can also be found in companies,
- garden, where the slabs act as a marker for the different zones,
- fencing, the horizontal elements of which are the relevant panels.
Laying concrete slabs on terraces and in gardens is an option for hotels, leisure centres, training centres, among others. Modern architecture offers a lot of freedom in this area, so it is worthwhile to develop the space in a friendly manner.
This is important before laying concrete slabs
The various methods of laying concrete slabs require appropriate site preparation. This type of paving will work on almost any terrain, but may require additional measures, such as preparing a sub-base of sand or sand and cement, digging and removing grass to a certain depth, compacting the soil. A professional assessment is essential so that, once the work is completed, you can be sure that you can walk and drive on the newly laid slabs without fear.
The joints and their width are also important, as well as the use of correctly selected kerbs and other edging. At SUPERBRUK we provide a full range of the necessary prefabricated products.
